Born and raised in the Maasai Mara, Brian is a wildlife conservationist and researcher with hands-on experience in wildlife monitoring, conservation and ecological research across East Africa. His deep connection to the land, wildlife and Maasai culture inspires Kaelo Expeditions Limited as—creating authentic safari experiences that connect people with nature while supporting conservation and local communities.
Dalton was born and raised in the Maasai Mara and is our professional Safari Lead. With extensive experience guiding safaris across East Africa, particularly in Kenya and Tanzania, Dallton brings a deep understanding of wildlife, landscapes, local communities, and the places we visit. He is the person you will interact with throughout your safari, coordinating with our team on the ground to make sure every part of your journey runs smoothly. His local knowledge and passion for wildlife help create authentic and memorable safari experiences.
Born and raised in the Maasai Mara, Jane is passionate about Maasai culture, traditional craftsmanship, and jewelry. She leads our Maasai Shop, where she works closely with local artisans and helps showcase authentic Maasai beadwork, jewelry, and handmade crafts to our guests. Jane brings her creativity, cultural knowledge, and passion for her community to everything she does, ensuring that every piece tells a story and provides a meaningful connection to Maasai heritage.
Austin Wise is an American citizen who was born in Ohio and raised in Kentucky. He is one of our own at Kaelo Expeditions Limited and brings a strong passion for hiking, adventure, and the outdoors. An accomplished long-distance hiker, Austin recently completed the Pacific Crest Trail, traveling from Mexico to Canada. His love for exploration and the outdoors makes him a natural fit for our adventure-focused experiences, and he brings that same spirit of curiosity and adventure to every journey with our guests.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Gabe is a passionate wildlife enthusiast with a particular fascination for reptiles and small creatures. On safari, you will often find him searching for chameleons, snakes, lizards, and other fascinating wildlife that can easily go unnoticed. His curiosity and enthusiasm bring a different perspective to the safari experience, encouraging guests to appreciate not only Africa's iconic animals but also the smaller and often overlooked species that make the ecosystem so remarkable.
